If you do not (or cannot) get the latest version, you can still view the e-books in the Safari browser window, or you can add the e-books to your iTunes library, then sync it to your device.
- If an e-book you download appears without images, you may need to re-save it with a PDF writer, such as Preview (a free app on Macs) or cutePDF (a free-to-use app for PCs), then add it to your iTunes library and sync your device.
You can also use iTunes software on your Mac or PC to transfer the file(s) from your computer to your device during a sync. There are two methods you can use:
1. Drag the desired file over the open iTunes window, and Drop the file onto the Library (upper left corner of the window)
2. Select Add to Library... from the iTunes menu bar, select the desired file(s) from the Add To Library window (you can select multiple files), and click Choose.
