To enter our iPad photo contest, collect as many iPad contest entry tickets as you can by finding and identifying the mystery photos in the PassPorter Photo Archive. Each day a new mystery photo will be posted -- when you locate and identify the photo in the archive, you receive a contest entry ticket. iPad contest entry tickets can be collected on PassPorter.com between January 12, 2012 at 12:01 am ET and May 1, 2012 at midnight ET.

The Grand Prize winning ticket will be randomly selected from all entry tickets on May 5, 2012, along with 10 Second Prize winners who will receive their choice of a PassPorter online edition or e-book. Please see our contest rules at the bottom of this page for more details.

So Where Do I Find the Mystery Photos?

Each day we will post at least one new Mystery Photo at our PassPorter Photo Archive (near the top of the page). Your mission is to study the photo (what you can see of it, that is) and then locate the photo in the Photo Archive. When you find the correct photo, you'll see a small iPad icon appear on the photo's page -- click it to save your iPad entry ticket. It's that simple!

If the above image were an actual mystery photo, you would want to look carefully at the photo -- and as you can see, it is a photo of fireworks at the Magic Kingdom, because you can identify Cinderella Castle at the bottom. So your next step would be to go to the PassPorter Photo Archive and either search on 'firework' or simply begin browing the Magic Kingdom - Parades, Shows, and Fireworks section. Without too much trouble, you would eventually spot, match, and identify the photo as being Magic Kingdom - Wishes Fireworks. Then you'd simply locate the iPad Photo icon and click it to save your entry ticket! Here's what the iPad Photo icon looks like:

Important: You must be a registered member of the PassPorter community (register here for free) -- and logged into the PassPorter Photo Archive -- to save a contest entry ticket. If your member name has unusual characters in it, particularly an apostrophe, you may have difficulty logging in -- the only solution is to change your member name to remove the apostrophe. To request a member name change, please send a PM to Jennifer Marx.Tip: Mystery photos will be posted daily, but some or all will disappear after a certain amount of time, so you'll want to check frequently. Additionally, some mystery photos may appear elsewhere on our web site, and if you spot one of those and locate it in our Photo Archive, you can get bonus entry tickets. Contest Rules

TO ENTER: Participants will need to discover and save hidden contest tickets found with Mystery Photos in the PassPorter Photo Archive web site. To be eligible, tickets must be discovered and saved between January 12, 2012 and May 1, 2012. Discovered tickets must be saved in our system by logging in to a free PassPorter community member account (accounts may be created at this link). Contest tickets discovered and saved after May 1, 2012 will not be eligible.

PRIZE: There will be one (1) Grand Prize Winner selected, and ten (10) Second Prize winners.
The Grand Prize Winner will receive a prize including:
One (1) 16GB Wi-Fi Apple iPad 2
One (1) electronic copy of every current and in-print PassPorter guidebook available in electronic format at the time the prize is awarded.

Each Second Prize Winner will receive a prize including:
One (1) copy of a PassPorter electronic edition of the winner's choice.

The estimated retail value of the Grand Prize is $655 and may not be traded in for cash value. The actual retail value of the contest depends on then current market conditions at time of prize fulfillment. The value of the prize(s) may be taxable as income. The Grand Prize Winner and Second Prize Winners are responsible for the payment of any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes that become due with respect to the prize(s).

ELIGIBILITY:
This contest is open to legal residents of the United States age 18 and older. Past winners of the PassPorter iPad Contest Grand Prize are not eligible to win the Grand Prize again, but all other previous entrants and Second Prize Winners are eligible. In order to become the Grand Prize Winner and to receive the prize, the selected winner must sign an affidavit of eligibility and publicity release within 48 hours of receipt of notification of selection as a winner. Failure to provide verifiable proof of age and residence will result in an alternate winner being chosen from among the remaining eligible entries. The contest is not open to employees and immediate family members of employees of PassPorter Travel Press. VOID WHEREVER PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

SELECTION OF THE WINNER:
The total number of eligible entries received will determine the odds of winning. The winners will be chosen via randomized drawing from the eligible contest entry tickets discovered. Selection of the Grand Prize Winner and the ten (10) Second Place Winners will take place between May 2 and May 5, 2012. Following selection, PassPorter Travel Press will notify the potential Grand Prize Winner by e-mail. The potential Grand Prize Winner must contact PassPorter Travel Press in accordance with the contact information contained in the notice within seven (7) business days of the date of the notice and must sign an affidavit of eligibility and a publicity release. If PassPorter Travel Press is unable to contact the potential Grand Prize Winner, or if the potential Grand Prize Winner fails to contact PassPorter Travel Press within seven business days after the date of the notice, or if the potential Grand Prize Winner is ineligible or fails to sign the affidavit and the publicity release, an alternate winner may be chosen from the remaining eligible entries. Decisions of the committee will be final as to all matters.

The name of the Grand Prize winner shall be posted on PassPorter.com no later than two (2) business days after the Grand Prize Winner has claimed the prize by contacting PassPorter Travel Press and has executed the affidavit and the publicity release. Affidavits of eligibility are subject to verification by PassPorter Travel Press. Entry constitutes permission to use winners' names for future advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation.
