    You Discovered a PassPorter Tip!

General Travel Tip #2203 - Bring a Child ID Card

At level 3, you can mark this tip as a favorite!
Traveling anywhere can be a very scary thought if you think about how many children are lost everyday. To be on the safe side, plan for any emergency by bringing a child ID card for each of your children (no matter what the age.) You can either have these made or you can make them yourself on a word doc and print and have them laminated. Be certain to include: Photo of the child, child's name, age, gender, height, weight, hair color, eye color, parent's name/contact information. Keep this Child ID card with you at all times so in the scary event of them being lost or separated from you or your group you can easily provide this card to any official to aid in finding your loved one quickly. Make certain you make a new card each year you travel. Old ID cards make great additions to a family scrapbook as well.
