You Discovered a PassPorter Tip!

Disney Cruise Line Tip #1515 - Port of Call Preparation

At level 3, you can mark this tip as a favorite!
I was starting to feel overwhelmed with planning shore excursions and other activities for our 12 day Baltic Cruise on the Magic. I wanted a way to organize our tours and activities for each day of the cruise. I put together an accordian file with various colored file folders inside, one corresponding to each day of the cruise. I have labeled them "Dover," "St. Petersburg, Russia," "Day at Sea," etc. Right now I am putting articles and information about each port in the appropriate file folder along with printouts of the various shore excursions that I am interested in. Once we are on board I just need to pull out the file for Helsinki to know what activities we have planned and what highlights we can look forward to seeing in that port. Once on board, I will also use the files to store various items of memorabilia that I accumulate that day, such as a dinner menus,Daily Navigators, postcards, or just notes on what we did that day for my scrapbook and journal. This will keep me organized on the ship and also make it easier to organize for my scrapbook when I return home.
