Walt Disney World Tip #1365 - Character Prep
We go to Disney every other year and on our past trip we decided to take my cousin and her 3 young sons. I was worried that my cousin's youngest son, who had never been to an amusement park before, might be scared of the characters. Before we left, we went to a costume store and tried on a bunch of the full-body character suits to prove to him that they weren't scary. We even took his picture with them to "practice." It worked like a charm. The first day we were there, he ran right up to Mickey for a photo op. This is a great time of year to do this since it is around Halloween and lots of costume shops are open.
