Walt Disney World Tip #2027 - Characters Are Not Just for Little Kids

At level 3, you can mark this tip as a favorite!
I have a very sophisticated family. The idea of meeting people dressed up as characters was a strange concept to my adolescents and my 9 year old thought it was a little beyond him. But I explained a few things to them. My shy 16 year old son would get to meet gorgeous 20 year old women who were nice, pretty and friendly. My daughter who is 13 and studying theater can observe to see if they can stay in character. And my 9 year old who got obsessed with pin trading, can always hunt for those elusive pirate pins with the handlers. My husband was happy if everyone was happy. By the last day of our trip the kids were asking to visit characters. My son was getting in to character and telling Mulan about his fighting skills. My daughter was trying to out princess the princesses. And my youngest finished his pirate pin collection. My husband even got to pose with his favorite Pooh character tigger.
