Walt Disney World Tip #2386 - Give Split Stays a Try!

At level 3, you can mark this tip as a favorite!
We have done several split stays and really think they are a great way to experience different resorts or go back to your favorites and still try something new. We find split stays especially useful while staying on our Disney Vacation Club (DVC) points, but have done it with cash stays too. Bell services does a great job with transferring luggage and storing perishables (which we often have since we usually have a full kitchen with our DVC accommodations). For our last trip, we stayed at Old Key West and Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani, and really fell in love with Animal Kingdom Lodge(AKL)! We may not have given it a try without having done a split stay, as we were not sure we would like it well enough to stay there for a full week. We were very pleasantly surprised, and will definitely be returning to AKL soon!
