Walt Disney World Tip #2179 - Plan Ahead for Halloween

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is a 'must do' on the fall itinerary! We did not tour a park on the MNSSHP night. Instead, we made it a sleep in morning with a visit to Downtown Disney. We ate a larger than usual lunch before heading back to the hotel to change into costumes. Be sure to take advantage of getting into the park early. Have a plan mapped out before you go so that you can make the most out of the evening. We opted not to go on many rides but instead see the characters, show, and especially the parade (prime viewing spot - across from the Sleepy Hollow eatery). Until we experienced MNSSHP, I didn't quite understand why people would go for two nights -- now I do! We didn't get to do everything we had hoped to do. SO it's worth the repeat. Don't miss the Haunted Mansion during MNSSHP -- it's to die for!
