Disneyland Resort/Southern California Tip #1364 - Save Hotel Points for Fun

When I travel on business I try to stay at a hotel for which I have a membership so that I can earn points. My favorite is Sheraton. Then when it is time for a visit to Disneyland, I use those points to stay at the Sheraton Hotel on Ball Road. The rooms are very comfortable and the hotel has a free shuttle to the resort that runs every half hour starting an hour before the park opens to an hour after the park closes. The hotel will also let me leave my car in their parking lot on check-out day so I can enjoy the day at the park without paying the fees to park in the Disney lots. They do charge for parking at the hotel; however, it is less than Disney's charge and when you are getting the room for free you can't complain!
