    You Discovered a PassPorter Tip!

Disney Cruise Line Tip #23828 - DCL Character Tip

At level 3, you can mark this tip as a favorite!
We sailed on the Disney Fantasy over Christmas week. As the ship was full, character meet and greet lines could get long. We quickly discovered that lines were set up for meet and greets outside the Walt Disney Theater after the evening shows. By leaving the theater during the final applause and curtain call, we were able to be first or second in line for the character meet and greet. After a couple minutes in line, the character would appear just as the crowd was streaming out of the theater. Rather than rushing and jostling to get in line, we were already having photos taken. To take advantage of this opportunity, sit at the end of a row at least half way back in the theater. There are no bad seats in the theater, and your position will allow for the hasty early exit.
