A more detailed trip report....Updated to Day 7....

Finally after being home a week and a half, I have the time to sit and write a nice detailed trip report!!! i kept a trip journal for dd and also to have stuff for scrapbook journaling.

Day 1:

The morning went very smooth. We were up on time and left the house on time- or as close to on time as my husband can get- 10 minutes later than I had wanted to leave. DD was doing really well- she seemed really excited.

We checked in at the airport, got breakfast and headed to security, where I learned I was an idiot and only had half of the boarding passes that i printed online. I thought my printer had printed two copies for each person, but in all reality it was boarding passes for both flights. Why didn't I read them when they printed??? Who knows?? We went back to the desk and they prinyed us all new boarding passes.

Our flight left 30 minutes late- they had to de-ice the wings. I was really worried since we only had a 45 minute layover in Charlotte to begin with, but now we would be getting there 30 minutes late!!! Turns out our connecting flight was late too, so it all was okay. We got to MCO 40 minutes later than we would have originally, no big deal!

DME was good- I really have no complaints. We got to AllSatr Movies at 2:45 OR so. It worked out good- we could check in and go right to our rooms.

Rooms were ok- small but good enough. My only regret was having DME take our luggage. I wish I would ahve had our suitcases. I didn't even have a brush or deoderant with me. (We had so much food and baby stuff to bring ont he plane, we had to limit the other stuff we brought)They were there when we came back that night- but we were so tired we just went to bed. We never had time to unpack. I hated living out of a suitcase for a week.

Back to Day 1- we had an early dinner at the food court. It was good. We were on the Dining plan, so with it being our first dining plan purchase, we were a little confused and had tons fo questions. The food was good. I had stuffed shells with salad and garlic bread, chocolate cake and a bottled juice.

Next we headed to Downtown Disney. It was great- just as I remembered, but very cold!!!! I was sad we didn't get any pictures at the Lego store. i love all those cool statues!!!! It was just too cold to be outside for long periods, plus there were tons of people. Next we headed to Disney Quest. It was cool! Not excatly my cup of tea, but it was not very crowded so it was enjoyable to just stand and watch the rest play games and stuff. Dh and nephew really enjoyed it. There wasn't a ton for DD to do- they had a few things for toddlers though. She sat in the raft when DH and nephew did the river raft virtual reality thing.

Waiting for a bus back to the resort form DTD was awful!!! They had no line, so people were just standing everywhere. We couldn't get on the first bus. Long day finally ended around 11:30. I needed tons of sleep to be ready for our first full day at MK!!!!

Day 2- Magic Kingdom!!!!!!

We all slept great!!!! The alarm was set for 6:30. I hoped to leave the room by 7:45 to catch the first bus to MK. At 7:15 ish there is a knock at our ajoining room door- MIL, SIL and nephew had just woken up. Nephew was ready by the time we left so he came with us. MIL and SIL were not, so they caught a later bus. (We did catch that first bus too!!)

By 10:20 we had done a ton of stuff!!! I had no clue how the lines would be- especially MK on a saturday, but it was really good. Getting in the park right as it opened helped alot. By 10:20 we were in line to meet Ariel and we had already rode the teacups, Winnie the Pooh, Snow White's Scary Adventure, It's a Small World and Cinderella's Carousel. We had Fastpasses for Peter Pan's flight starting at 11:00.

It rained that day- enough to be annoying- especially to me with wearing glasses. We put a poncho over the stroller to keep it dry and we were fine without wearing them. We saw Mickey's Philharmagic show- BEST SHOW in Disney!!! Jaden just loved it- she tried to grab everything I didn't know if she'd keep the glasses on, but she did and loved it!! We ate lunch at Pincchio's Village haus. I had a great panini- turkey and bacon.

It stopped raining and got a little warm. Even mid day at MK on a saturday we had wait times of no longer than 20 minutes. I was impressed!!!! DD fell asleep and took a wonderful nap- we browsed shops on Main Street while the Share a Dream Come True parade was going on.

We had dinner at the Crystal Palace. We loved it!!!!!! There were some reviews on this board where people really did not like the food and were disappointed with the character interactions. I thought the food was great- a wonderful selection of meats and sides plus tons of desserts- and the character meetings was just enough. Any more would have been too much. DD got to meet Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger, take a picture and give them a hug.

After dinner we rode Pirates of the Caribbean, climbed the Swiss Family Treehouse, watched the Tiki Birds show (my MIL's fav), rode Aladdin's carpet ride, and rode Jungle Cruise.

We started looking for a Spectromagic Parade spot at 8:30 and we were too late to get anything decent. We originally planned to see the 11 o'clock parade, but we had finished everything I had planned for the day. We found a spot in Liberty Square near the Hall of Presidents. We didn't get to sit right in the front and dd had to be on DH's shoulders to see, but it was decent. Afterwards we found a ncie spot in the hub to watch fireworks, but it was so foggy that we could barely see the fireworks that were behind the castle. We got a good view of Tinkerbell though! We ended up leaving during the fireworks- there was no point sicne we could hardly see anything- plus we could get to the bus stop early!!

Day 3- MGM!!!!!! Coming soon!!!!
