I am still alittle confused as to where they put the staples? I had major middle/inner ear surgery in 2002 where I actually had a staple put in my ear to hold one of my bones in place. I didn't lose any weight and I had to be in the hospital for a night because of vertigo and pain management. My surgery was for hearing loss due to a growth on one of the bones in my ear.
