| Re: Best off property hotel We've stayed at 5 good neighbor hotels, and Candy Cane Inn is far and away our favorite. It's very pretty - tons of blooming plants and hanging flowers. The rooms are very cute with quilts instead of bedspreads and wooden shutters on the windows. We had 4 in our room and had plenty of room leftover. They also have deluxe rooms with more room. The free breakfast was good - we used it 5 out of 6 mornings. Also the noise volume was very low. We were on the bottom floor and couldn't hear the people above or next to us. Highly recommend it.
On the other hand, I would stay far far away from the Ramada Inn Maingate. We had an awful stay there - dirty rooms, noise all night, etc. |
