Exclamation Ipods on Airplanes?

I am leaving for WDW tomorrow on a delta flight and I still can't find a straight answer on whether or not my DD can take her Ipod on the airplane. She really wants to take it, but I do not want them to confiscate a $200.00 Ipod. I called Delta and the reservation woman said she could take it, but I need some reassurance. Please Please let me know if you have flown lately and know the rules.

P.S. I have searched all the Airline safety websites and none of them have a straightforward answer on Ipods.
