Hi.......My husband has Ms and requires a wheelchair or scooter while we visit WDW. We have stayed at the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian, which are right on the monorail(the Contemporary is on the same monorail) and found it so easy and handy to use. He has a hard time boarding the buses even though they are handicapped accessible (he's not a good driver)and the wait can be alittle longer for one of the handicapped accessible buses....... so I think a resort on the monorail is the best choice. If I remember correctly, my husband was able to board the "friendships" at Epcot with the scooter but not the smaller boats from Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian and Polynesian. We now usually stay at the BoardWalk Villas so the use of the launches to and from Magic Kingdom could have changed. Well, in any case have at wonderful at WDW rella
