I stayed at the Carousel Inn and Suites in February 2005. It was a great location...right across the street from the gate. My room was clean and I felt safe there. The breakfast was adequate, but the view from the breakfast room was great - overlooking the parks. The staff was nice and helpful.

This past November I stayed at the Alpine Inn. The room was fine. I was there by myself for a few nights before going to LA for a conference. I requested a 1st floor room, as I had a lot of luggage, but they were unable to accomodate. Therefore, I ended up dragging all my luggage upstairs by myself. I have a bad knee and it was most difficult. At the end of my stay, I practically had to beg the desk guy to come and help me. I tipped him well, of course, but he made it obvious that it was NOT his job to do this.

Both trips I wanted to stay at the Candy Cane Inn and it was all booked up!
