| Cooling idea and magical express review Everyone thinks I'm crazy until they try it - use a lemon (or lime) as deodorant instead of antiperspirant/deodorant. Why? #1. Antiperspirant stops you from sweating and keeps you from keeping cool #2. The acidity in lemon removes the worst scent (I can attest to that) it lasts all day and works accumulatively so if you skip a day, no big deal #3. It's cheap - you can get free lemon wedges almost anywhere in the World, and lemon juice packets work just as well #4. It doesn't stain clothes, leaves no white residue and washes right out of your clothes (read as: you won't have to burn those stinky old tshirts anymore) #5. It smells really good and feels really refreshing if you want to reapply mid-day. #6. No one is arguing whether or not an organic lemons cause breast cancer, unlike store bought antiperspirants. Think I'm nuts? Try it, and you'll see!
And for the person who asked about the Magical Express - we have had a variety of experiences with it. When we arrived during a low season, we were the only people who boarded the bus. It idled for 45 minutes and at last we took off, but only to drive around the airport for another 25 minutes to wait for other passengers to fill up the bus. The worst thing about it? The bus driver dropped us off last so we didn't get to our Disney hotel for more than two hours after we arrived. It was extremely frustrating. We no longer us the ME bus to take us from the airport to the hotels - we use a car service instead that makes a grocery stop along the way at no extra charge. Conversely, every time we have departed WDW using ME, the bus has left on time and with exceptional service. Lesson learned: talk to your bus driver when you arrive so you know what to expect - if the wait is going to be very long you can always choose another method of transportation. |
