Thanks for clarifying...but let me ask this...becaue I pretty much plan our entire vacation before we go. Since all of the planning is done, is the food the only reason to book concierge?

In my opinion, no. We booked early and let the concierge take care of all the details, etc. The food is nice, but it is not like there is a full meal offered. A sample menu would be as follows:
Breakfast – Cold cereals, bagels, cream cheese, breads, butter, jellies, breakfast pastries, fruit, yogurt and morning beverages.
Lunch- Finger sandwiches, raw vegetables and dip, fruits, cookies, brownies, cold and hot beverages.
Afternoon Tea – Several types of tea, cookies, coffee, lemonade and ice tea.
Dinner - Hot and cold offerings (appetizers), several types of cheese and crackers, fruit, raw vegetables and dip. Several wines are presented each night.
There are perks that come with concierge...for example, when we stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge in WDW, for an additional fee, only concierge guests were able to take advantage of the Sunrise Safari (private tour of Kilimanjaro Safaris with private buffett breakfast @ Tuskar House included). Again, the 2 children in our group received a small birthday gift and a cake (delivered to their room) on their birthday. There was a goodbye package delivered to our rooms on check out day; a large bottle of water each with a poem attached. Concierge had their own check in/check out desk, and a private entrance to the concierge area.
