Ok Folks as we move farther down the tarmac as we get closer to taking off for this wonderful vacation I would like to remind you that all luggage should be stowed and seats in an upright position.

Now that we had our hotel and air reservations my next task was to figure out where we wanted to eat! We were going to use the dining plan again as we had such good luck with it on our last trip and thought why not for this trip!

Now I have to explain a little bit here see my mom will eat just about anything (except peaches or anything with peaches in it as she is allergic) and loves to try new things. On the other hand I am a very boring eater. I will eat steak, macaroni and cheese, and very few other things. I am also a little "monkish" (character from the usa network who is germ-a-phobic if that is a word) I will inspect everything before i touch food with it and then the food if it looks weird i don't eat it. Now I'm really not high maintanence but after a bought with food poisoning and not something i ever want to experience again I really do fear what i eat. So to decide where we will eat I have to analyze the menu and decide if there is something I will eat on it.

So i quickly dash over to Deb's Unofficial Walt Disney World Vacation Information Guide - WDW Planning Guide - Walt Disney World and look at the menus that she has posted online. I this website as I can make sure that our choices are good for both of us!

So I quickly jot down all the places I would like to eat at and then narrow it down to how many we can eat at based on the number of credits we have to use. Then I bring the list to my mother who has the option of vetoing any of my choices.

Well usually I get "where ever you will eat or want dear" so vetoing doesn't happen too often!

So for this trip my Original Choices were:

San Angel Inn - now I know your probably thinking but your probably too picky to eat there but mexican is one of the few other things i do eat. But will it survive through to the final list of choices we will find out once the tribe has spoken yes my dining decisions follow the survivor series!

Spoodle's- this was a really good meal for us in December and we want to try it again they have a great steak but I might be willing to try something else!

Tony's Town Square- Now this is one that we aren't sure about we love italian so the menu isn't the concern its the reviews i have read but since we don't enjoy Liberty Tree Tavern or Crystal Palace we don't want to waste 2 credits on Cindy's or even 1 credit for the Plaza this was our only choice for inside the MK. We will see how it goes.

Rose and Crown- Now this is probably the one that I have the most limited choice on but its one that I really want to try and am willing to branch out to do so. I think this is the meal i'm most looking forward to.

Now those use up all of our Table Service Credits but we are going to do a character breakfast but pay for it out of pocket. This one was hard to decide on because of the choices we had done most of them all and the only new one was Cape May Cafe. It was to be booked on our last day as a final send off and our routine is usually to go to Ohana's for our last breakfast. Would mom veto Cape May to keep with tradition or will we be able to break tradition and try something new?

Mom looked at my list and surprisingly said she really wanted to try Cape May Cafe so we will be having breakfast at Cape May!

So as she looks at the list something on it is looking like the big Veto is going to happen I suspect its Tony's but alas it was San Angel Inn. She just didn't see anything on the menu she wanted and she was really disappointed that I hadn't put our favorite restaurant on the list for dinner. I sigh and know i have to do a Le Cellier Reservation dance in hopes that its available because San Angel Inn is removed from the list and Le Cellier added.

So with the list of restaurants we want to try in hand I call Disney Dining my hopes already down as I know I'm so late in calling for reservations and she really wants Le Cellier but imagine my surprise when on our first night there they have an ok time available. So we go through the rest of the list and this is what we have:

June 19th - Dinner 7:40pm Le Cellier
June 20th- Dinner 6pm Spoodle's
June 21st- Dinner Tony's Town Square
June 22nd- Dinner Rose and Crown
June 23rd- Breakfast Cape May Cafe

I hang up and about 20 minutes later my mom says "how about Boma for breakfast on AK day?" i wanted to scream as when I asked if she wanted it before it was "no" and now after i spent 10 minutes hitting 1 for this and 2 for that and 20 minutes making reservations she wanted me to call back!
Ok.....so i call back and they probably are going to ban me from calling after this trip because as you will find out later this call is like 2 of 500. We secure Boma for our AK day so now we have:

June 19th- Le Cellier
June 20th -Spoodle's
June 21st Breakfast at Boma, Dinner at Tony's Town Square
June 22nd Rose and Crown
June 23rd Breakfast Cape May Cafe

Boma and Cape May Cafe are both out of pocket expenses and for our Counter Service Meals we have a general idea of where we would like to eat but it depends on where we are when we are hungry!

Up Next.... Are we walking to Disney from the Airport or will you decide on a rental car yet?
