| Park Vue Inn or Desert Inn?
I'm trying to figure out which DL hotel to stay and I've narrowed it down to 2 choices -- Park Vue Inn or the Desert Inn. I stayed at both these hotels in 2005 and I don't recall anything bad about them. The Desert Inn was tight on parking, though, but this time, I won't have a car. The walk from the hotels to DL seemed the same. The Park Vue Inn had a nicer breakfast room. The main difference is the price -- I got the Desert Inn for 6 nights in September for $380 (before tax) and the Park Vue Inn was around $500. Unless things have changed at the Desert Inn, I'll probably stay there because it is cheaper. I'm just looking for a place to sleep and relax after a hard day at DL.
So which would you choose?
BTW, the hotel that really stuck out during a DL stay was the Penny Saver Inn. That place bordered on gross. Paint was peeling on the walls. The sidewalks looked like someone walked on them over and over again and left a trail. The pool looked like someone filled it with a garden hose and didn't bother to maintain it! |
