I'm trying to book a trip in mid-late October and everywhere I check, the price is $340/night. Period. Do the prices fluctuate closer to your vacation time? Are there any packages where you can get the rooms a bit cheaper? Does calling the hotel directly help at all? We're going mid-week so I would think the hotel wouldn't be as 'in demand'. I don't expect to get a screaming deal but didn't know if they lower prices during off times or not.

I want to stay off property but DH is insistant that with a young kid, we stay there if for proximity only.
