Sorry to hear about your camera. I think I would be more upset about losing my pics than about losing my camera, too.

This brings up an important safety precaution that I take - Backup your pics! I put my pics on my laptop at the end of each day, and usually burn a CD copy before leaving for home.

But if you don't have a laptop and keep your pics on your memory cards until you get home, you can still have the pics burned to CD at WDW or at an off-site place like Walgreens or WalMart. Just keep the CDs in a suitcase instead of in your camera bag; it's highly unlikely that your camera bag AND suitcase would all be lost or stolen, so at least one of the two copies of your pics would make it home safe.
