I stayed at the Carousel Inn two years ago. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The continental breakfast was OK; I'm more of an eggs and toast girl, but since it was free, I took advantage. The view from the breakfast room was awesome - overlooks Disneyland. I loved being right across the street from the park. The room was clean. I was staying there alone and I felt safe. I don't recall exactly what I paid; it was around $70-80 per night. I would stay there again if for no other reason than the location. Last year I stayed at the Alpine Inn and it was a little too far away for my taste - I didn't like walking back there at night alone after being in the park all day.
