In high school I marched in the Illinois State Fair parade as a Pom-Pon Girl with our high school band. I ended up on the front page of our local newspaper! The only other time I marched was when my kids were in their high school marching band. They always marched in the local Memorial Day and 4th of July parades. I would be running along side with the water bottles!
