October 25 2008-Thursday

I set the wake up call the night before for 7:15 AM. As soon as I got the call from Mickey and Stitch I was up and at em…of course I was the only one.

I made toasted bagels with cream cheese for everyone I had brought a cheap toaster I had at home for the room. Mallory was the first one up which was good b/c she has to straighten her hair and put make-up on. I then woke up Kaia and she was in a much better mood then the night before. I got her dressed and her teeth brushed…of course and much to my dismay my DH was the last one to crawl out of bed but he was up quick to get dressed.

We were out of the room by 8:15 AM which was pretty good especially since we had breakfast and were ready to board the bus.

The bus showed up just as soon as we arrived and we were off to my favorite park EPCOT.
As we waited for the park to open I went look at a small kiosk of pins outside the EPCOT gates Mallory and Kaia stayed in line with Ben. I bought a jasmine pin for Kaia (for riding Star Tours the day before) and I bought Mallory the cutest Little mermaid pin.

We waited for about 20 minutes before the park opened …I was almost tempted to follow the character in the Character Spot at EPCOT but knew we needed to head for Soarin. Mallory ran ahead and got us FP’s for Soarin so we could ride again without waiting if we wanted to…we met up and got in line. Kaia did not seem to be scared at all about this ride as we got in line.


The all of a sudden we got visited by the people in the white vests aka the Dream Team! How it happened was that Kaia and Mallory where playing a clapping game called Lemonade that goes…

Lemonade, crunchy ice
Beat it once, beat it twice.

Beat it once, beat it twice.
Turn around, touch the ground, FREEZE.

To which you have to freeze and the first person to move loses. Well there game caught the eyes of the dream team and they walked over to us…and asked Kaia to teach them the game…so Kaia played the game with a lady on the dream team…it was really cute…and then one of the guys gave her a Little Mermaid sticker (Mallory seemed only slightly peeved by this)…next they asked her where she was from. The they asked her if she liked waiting in lines…to which she of coursed answered NO!
They told her if she whispered into one of there ears that she didn’t want to stand in line today that they would sprinkle pixie dust and make it happen…
So Kaia went up to the lady who played the game with her and whispered that she didn’t want to wait in line today…and we all got Dream Fast Passes…

DH and I received dream fast passes last year with a group of people for being the first ones in line for RNRC but this time seemed so much more special b/c Kaia was beaming with the extra attention and the fact that she had won this special gift!


After all this excitement it was time to board Soarin …Kaia sat between Mallory and I in the first row…she got really nervous when we were lifted up and she refused to hang her feet. ..because of how high we were…but she really enjoyed it.

Next we walked went on to Living with the Land a favorite of Ben and I’s Kaia was not that impressed after all the excitement of Soarin…

After the land we headed over to Test Track…Kaia got really nervous as we approached Test Track b/c of the loud noises of the speeding cars overhead…I explained to her that it went really fast but I really thought she would like it if she gave it a chance…so she agreed as long as she could sit next to me and hold my hand.
The wait was 30 minutes so we used our dream fast passes to skip the line.

As we approached the start of the line Kaia became less nervous and more excited. She held my hand for most of the ride…but I could tell she was really enjoying herself…and as soon as we exited she wanted to ride again.

I told her maybe later …but Mallory really wanted to try Mission Space Green team (she had never rode Mission Space) I asked Kaia if she wanted to give it a try and she said YES!!!! So we all got our green cards and waited about 5 minutes before we boarded our simulator…the green team was fun…but as soon as we exited Mallory wanted to ride the Orange team and so did I…I explained to Kaia this would be more intense and she could sit it out if she wanted…NOPE…she wanted to do the Orange team as well which peer pressure Ben to joining us.

We had such a great time on Orange Team…it was cool to be just the 4 of us in our own simulator …we really bonded…and guess what Kaia love the zero gravity feeling!
