As soon as we exited the Maelstrom I put Ben in charge of Mal and Kaia while I got in line to check us in at Akershsus. It was very busy outside this restaurant with large families waiting to be seated…it was very intimidating but I waited my turn there where 3 people ahead of me.

As soon as it was my turn in line a women jumped in front of me to see if her and her daughter could go into the restaurant just to meet Belle..…I was aggravated …It’s not that I didn't want this little girl to see Belle but her mom cutting in front of me in line and then wanting to experience something I was paying for free of charge…kind of irked me…she made a scene and they escorted her inside to meet Belle…

Finally it was my turn in line…

I said “Reservation for Maria Martin for 4 at 7:15 PM”
A little time passed and she could not find it…I thought about it for a bit….

“it may be under Benjamin Davis” I said …never thinking I would put it under my husbands name but maybe.

“There is no reservation under either of those names” she said.

and then a couple of minutes later she said “could it be under Maria Davis?”

That was our reservation. I don’t know what I was thinking when I made that reservation b/c I have never officially changed my last name but apparently that day when I made the reservation I was feeling like a Davis…any who…I was directed to wait and they would call us soon.

I gathered the troops who were of course looking a at a cart full of princess stuff across the way…as soon as they made there way over we were called inside.

As soon as we were inside we were directed to a line to get our picture taken with Belle…she was really gorgeous in her yellow ball gown and resembled Kelly Clarkson …Mallory and Kaia got a picture with her before we were seated .

As soon as we were seated our waiter Per Christian was very helpful with the menu…for our drinks of course the Kaia and Mallory wanted the Pirates Punch b/c it came with a glowing Tinker bell or captain hook I agreed to purchase this for them…Mallory got the Captain hook and Kaia got the Tinker bell.

Ben ordered the Carlsberg Draft Beer

And I had the The Oslo A creation from the capital city, this frozen fruity favorite combines Strawberries with Crème de Banana, Linie Aquavit, and Vodka

Ben and I loved our drinks…


but Kaia and Mallory didn’t really like there’s but agreed it was worth it just for the light up trinkets.

We were all directed to the buffet for our appetizers…

Mallory, Ben and I had the smoked salmon, green salad, and a couple of other things that looked familiar.

Kaia opted for a scoop of tuna salad and that was it.

When Per Christina returned we were ready to place our order for our entrees

Ben ordered Baked Salmon topped with spicy mustard.

Mallory ordered Pasta Akershus

I had the Pork Loin.

And Kaia had the Cheese Ravioli served with cheesy cream sauce.

After we ordered one of the servers brought over the package which included the picture Mallory and Kaia had taken with Belle…the picture of course came out really good…but I told the guy to give us a second to think about it…it was right around $30 for a big pic and 4 smaller ones…Mallory and Kaia really wanted the picture so we agree to all chip in $10 and get it…I am glad we did b/c we gave my mom the big picture when we got home and she loves it.





After we ordered the fun started…we were the second table that all the princesses came to..b/c were sitting right next to the door.


Mallory sees Ariel coming out of the door...

Mallory was really excited b/c the Little Mermaid was the first to come out…she was really pretty and nice.





Next out was Alice and even though she is not a princess she was all of our favorite character by far…



She asked Kaia what her favorite ride was today and Kaia answered test track…

Alice told us a long story about how her and the Mad Hatter had a tea party on test track and the tea and jam got all over so she’s not allowed to go on that ride anymore….
It was great interaction….

Next out was Jasmine…Kaia got really excited…



Kaia was wearing a bracelet with little eyes on it…(Mallory bought it for her somewhere in EPCOT that day)

Jasmine asked her about her bracelet ..and asked if the eyes help her look out for the evil Jafar…Kaia just blushed to star struck to talk…

Cinderella came out last and was not much of a conversationalist but we were thrilled to see her none the less…Unfortunately the picture I got of her and the girls looks like she had one to many champagnes…

When she left we all dug into our food…

Mallory loved her pasta and my pork was very good…


my pork was the only entree i took pictures of.

Ben was not a big fan of his salmon but I tasted it and really liked it…

Kaia took a couple of bites of her ravioli but was to excited to finish her entire meal.

Next up was desert…

Mallory and Ben loved the Cappuccino cheese cake…while I really liked the princess cake…the Traditional Rice Cream was little weird for us but not bad just different.


Because there was nuts in all the desert in some way (and Kaia's allergic) she got a Popsicle.



Next I am just not meant to see Illuminations ….
