The "I wish I was there!" Report

This is really a report of my 2 friends who are visiting the world as I type. They're doing so many fun things I just had to share with everyone. First a little background:

- Party: Jason (31) and Courtney (31) - just married this past July. He's one of my oldest and best friends. We met when we were 19. He's become one of those rare friends you find that's stuck with you through thick and thin and you know always will.
- Journey: Long story short: We're all so jealous of these two . They were married in July and went to Germany for their 2 week honeymoon. They decided after getting engaged they wanted to travel the US for a year after getting married. They've saved up everything they could over the past year, bought a used trailer from friends, and are driving it across the country for the next 8 months or so. A stay at Disney was tops on Jason's list and Courtney has never been there.
- Lodging: Since they have the trailer they are staying at Fort Wilderness at the RV sites Nov 5 through the 15th....did I mention we're all jealous?

So far they've been to MK a couple of times, DHS, and AK. They've been making the most of the park hopper option. They like to sleep late and stay up late, so they've been hitting one park for half the day, then hopping to wherever the pm EMH hours are.

They've only gotten lost once so far . They got on a wrong boat somewhere to get back to FW after Jason saw how much shorter that line was compared to the FW boat's line. He suggested they hop on the shorter line thinking it was going to the same place. Turns out it wasn't and they ended up riding the monorail back to catch the right boat. I'm not exactly sure how this happened since I wasn't there and don't have the details but it still makes me feel better about getting lost ourselves . They've ridden the monorail a couple of times and managed to be up front once. He said it turns out all you need is a valid FL driver's license to drive the monorail.

Courtney has a heart condition so she absolutely cannot ride anything jarring. It's not just roller coasters, rides like Dinosaur and maybe even Kilimanjaro Safaris are out. Luckily Disney has something for everyone. So far her favorite has been Mickey's Philharmagic.

Jason loves thrill rides. The fast pass works out great for them since they can do other things they can both do while he waits for rides she cannot go on. The other day they were at DHS and Jason grabbed a fastpass for RNRC. He then noticed the single rider line and they decided he might as well head on in. I guess he wasn't quite prepared for how fast it launches you from the loading platform even though we've been on that type of roller coaster many times before . He headed over to TOT and rode that. By time he was done, his fastpass time was up already so he decided why not go again. He does not recommend doing RNRC, TOT, then RNRC again . According to him, the second go round of RNRC was a tad bit too much.

They went to O'Hana last night. I was kind of surprised he got this reservation since he called while they were there....must've been a cancellation. Just proof it never hurts to try! They are both vegan so no animal products of any kind. When they told the CM they were vegan, the chef came out to their table. Jason said the chef sat down at their table and discussed what they could do for them. They both liked the food and he said the presentation was amazing. I was shocked to learn they have 2 kinds of vegan ice cream as well . I guess that shouldn't be so surprising since a lot of people have to avoid dairy. They also had a table right by the window and got to see Wishes while they ate! He said it was an unbelievable experience.

They were thinking of going to back to AK today, then heading to Epcot for pmEMH tonight. I'll update next time he calls. I can't wait to hear more myself!
