This was a truly awesome trip report. I loved every bit of it, even the exciting end!! I am so glad you made it so close to home before your car died and to find out it was still under warrenty!
As far as your trip(s) next year, maybe you could go for a couple of nights after Easter and then make a long trip near Christmas?? Whatever you decide I know you'll have a great time!!
