Susan Lucci will be 61 December 23, the same day as her grandson turns 1!

She's definitely had plastic surgery, but she looks great. I hope I look half that good at her age. Heck, I'd settle to look half that good now!
Soap stars in general are awesme to their fans, and much more accessible than film stars, IMO. They know that w/o fans, they wouldn't have jobs and usually go out of their way to be appreciative to them. In 2004 the day before SSW, Kassie DePaiva (Blair, OLTL) was signing copies of her album "No Regrets" at The Writers Stop in MGM. Disney CM's kept discouraging fans and telling us that Kassie would only sign so many autographs. They handed out wrist bracelets to those "guaranteed" autographs and those were gone by 3 p.m. even though she wasn't scheduled to appear until 4:30. At 6 p.m. when she was scheduled to end, the line was still out the door and down the stairs. She came out and said she'd get to everyone in line who had a CD, but first she had to "meet someone special". There was a boy in a motorized wheelchair who couldn't get up the steps to go inside. She came out, knelt down beside him, talked to him a few minutes, signed his CD, AND took a picture with him. THEN she went back inside and signed more autographs!

When I left at 6:30, she was STILL there. She took the time to make everyone feel special. That's how most of the soap stars are. That's why we

them!
Oh and Denise, I appreciate all the pictures you took at SSW. I didn't mean to sound like I didn't. You really captured the mood and made me feel like I was there, even though I missed it. So

again!
