Booking rooms for more than 4

I have always had great luck with AAA packages and wanted to use them for this trip. But the agent says that they can't book 3adults and 2 children together on the packages in the rooms so we have to get 2 rooms. Anyone know anything about this or can help?

I know of lots of people who have done that and get into one room. Help.
