| We did this on our last vacation -- plane got in at 8:30PM and we got our luggage at 12:30 that night.
However, I would do this differently if I was arriving that late again. I would pack one bag (carry-on or checked) that contained just what we needed for that night and the next morning -- and I would NOT DME tag that one bag. Then, I'd DME tag the rest of the luggage.
When we landed, I'd pick up any bags that I sent through without a DME tag and take it to DME and the bus.
When I checked-in to the resort, I'd tell them that I don't want the lugage delivered until the next morning.
I'd head out to a park the next morning and know that my bags would be waiting in the room when I got back.
Easy peasy!
Eileen
