So now that you have a frosty beverage either virtual or in real life Lets get this Party Started or at least the Pre Trip Report for it!



Well I must take this time time to introduce you to those who will be joining me on this Wild and Crazy adventure. You see there is someone going who hasn't been in one of my Trip Reports before! Who you ask??? Well read on read on and find out!

First up there is Me...Moi...your Trip Report Writer....

My Name is Amy I am in serious need of a 12 step program to help with my Disney-i-tis and my favorite character is Grumpy, followed by Captain Hook but really any villian will do!

I am borrowing this from Mattnkatsmom ( Karen) and sharing some things you may not know about me yet.

1. I lived in Orlando for a summer, worked at Typhoon Lagoon and basically lived off of French Toast Cereal and Strawberry Soda... Yes sometimes together it was cheaper then Milk and well I was 18 and well willing to live wild yeah i still can't look or try those two products yet but hey it was my first time living alone give me a break ....

2. I spent 2 years as a Clown (yes the painted face, the curley hair, the squirting flower bit) and attended "Clown College" but you wouldn't be shocked to know that I did this with my Father's Family ...we all knew they were a little nutty but it was a fun way to spend a summer or two. I know how to walk on stilts (although at this point would probably end up falling on my face but i could if i had to) and I can make a snake out of a balloon...trust me when I say that I attempted a Poodle but was asked to just not try again. i will TRY to find a photo of me in my costume and upload it! My Clown name..... Snickers! (my favorite candy bar)

3. Last but not least.... I am easily hypnotized and have been so twice the first time I sang LeAnn Rime's song "Blue" and the 2nd time I was on stage in front of my College advisor, and the Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA highschool level) members from the east coast kissing my shoe telling it how much i loved it and dancing through the audience reinacting my impression of some rock star i had never heard of before that night! So no I don't do hypnotists anymore... I can't afford the publicity again!

So now you know a little more about me but here is the basic and a photo of myself. I will be turning 26 on this trip and have been to WDW close 30 times so far!



Now lets talk about the 2nd person joining me.... My Mother! Kidding just kidding! I enjoy her company!

My mom aka as Mom LOL has been to Disney 1 more time then I have but she leaves all the trip planning to myself. She is a more of a just show up and have fun type person, and leave the planning to someone else! It amazes me that my trips as a kid we had accomplished anything with her not having a plan but that was BP (Before Passporter) So she didn't know any better!

So Some things you may not know about my mom:

1. She was born 5 days before Disneyland's Opening Day to the public, she attributes this to her love of the Mouse and loves to tell people how close she was to being born on opening day!

2. She spent a month in California for work in the 80's right after I was born almost but never got to see Disneyland, but went to Knottsberry Farm. She went with people who "don't get it" about Disneyland.

3. She was a Girl Scout leader and survived to tell about it... especially with me and my best friend Nancy in her Troop. We weren't the easiest girls to lead but hey she is the one who insisted I make friends and well... What can I say I wasn't one to get "always quiet in class" remarks in school so why would that change in scouts She did say she enjoyed it years later so couldn't have been too bad!

Last but not least and boy am I excited to share this trip with this person..... My GRANDMA!!!! (mom's mom)

So Grandma aka as G'ma (Fran to those not related to her but since y'all are like family, we will stick to the G'ma) has been to WDW before but I was not even 10 the last time she went with us. She loves to travel but is the type who needs you to push and force her to commit to going but once she gets told to go she is happy and has a great time!

Since you don't know a lot about her here is a little background. My grandma is in her 80's and still works 5 days a week, she is a lunch monitor at the local Elementary School and works for no more then 2 hours a day. She lives with my Aunt K. and my Cousin Kevin (Kev for short) and still drives but trust me when we I say she is one fiesty lady who refuses to believe she is a Grown Up so WDW is perfect for her! Just watch out if you think Mom and I are dangerous on ECV's well wait till we get back to find out if we survive from G'ma Driving one!

She was married to my G'pa (grandpa) for almost 50 years but he died a few years ago and she was 1 of 8 children. She was nick named "Floor Foot Franie" by my mom and her friends because .. When my Mom and her friends wanted to "drive by" their "Crushes" houses and beep at them my g'ma would drive them and beep as they went by and take off so the girls wouldn't be "embarassed" the things parents do for their kids... no my mom didn't do that for me... I was way to shy to even admit to her I had a crush back then!

So all in all I have a really cool G'ma and I can't wait to share this trip with her!
