Wow i just caught up! So far i would like to say that i was in a similar situation this past thanksgiving with the plane and snow,etc. I was nearly in tears but they ended up switching me to a plane that actually had me home on a nonstop flight. I think they felt sorry for me because i was by myself and and in tears*LOL* But it sounds like it worked out well for you two first class and all
