We got our travel docs yesterday
including the DME paperwork. Can you guys clarify something for me, please?
We're flying with Southwest. I think I understand that we'll be able to use DME like normal on the way down to Orlando. The only difference with Southwest, as far as I understand, is that we won't be able to check our bags straight from the resort to the home airport. Instead, we'll check the bags at MCO ourselves once we arrive there on DME.
My husband read the DME booklet that came in our packet, and he thinks it says that we won't be able to use the luggage pick-up arrangement on the front end either. His interpretation is that we'll pick up our own baggage when we arrive in Orlando, and that the only part of DME we'll use is the shuttle to and from WDW and the delivery of our luggage to our room.
Does anyone know exactly how DME works with Southwest? I really think I'm right
but it would help to have back-up from the experts!
