I have 2 questions... this is kind of a long one!! We are flying Southwest in June. My DH is leaving the day before us b/c he actually has to work
(we're tagging along on his business trip). I'm sending him down w/ all the luggage. We received our DME booklet a few days ago and it says to take the book with you... we're traveling different days!! Would it be ok for my DH to take his voucher out of the booklet and go? They are all dated with the correct information.
My second question is about our return trip. We actually used DME the month before it officially started. We went down in April of 05 and had the whole experience except the luggage transfer part. On our way home we barely made it to the airport (think Home Alone... running through the airport w/ a 3 yr old and an infant.) How accurate are they with getting you to the airport for your trip home? Southwest says you need to have your bags checked in 45 minutes before you departure... we missed this last time and had to have our bags delivered home.
