| Transferring points can be done over the phone and takes effect immediately. You should be able to speak to a live person, who can tell you exactly how many points are available. The number to manage rewards is 1-800-436-7999. I haven't called it in a while, but I'm sure there are options to get your reward point balance and to speak to a customer service rep.
