After the girls were all gussied up, we headed back to the GF to show them off and say goodbye to the next round of guests leaving. We skipped out of the MK and onto the boat which, as magic would have it, was pulling into the dock. It was only the four girls on the boat and it was a beautiful albeit quick ride back to the GF Marina. We exited and made our way to the pool area where some of the girls ‘adoring fans’ were finishing up a swim or hanging out until their designated DME time. It was pretty funny because DN was ready to jump into the pool while Izzy was horrified at the idea…NOTHING was going to ruin her makeover!

We hung at the pool a bit, catching up and saying our goodbyes. My parents were heading out shortly. They were so animated in recalling their day at Epcot and especially winning Dream FP and trying out Test Track! My father met up with his favorite character and my mom even remembered to snap a pic for posterity.

My Aunt and her family would also be heading out shortly….they were going to visit some friends in the Tampa Area for a few days. All of the friends, with the exception of one group, were also scheduled to be leaving today as their kids had school on Monday. It was great to see everyone one final time and hear how they were spending their last moments in WDW. I was so happy that they all had enjoyed such a wonderful time and shared this very special occasion with us.

Izzy and I then headed back upstairs, stopping at the lounge for a cool beverage and found a nice surprise waiting for us. I don’t know why but in general, we rarely receive towel animals. Earlier this morning, when I had filled out the mousekeeping envelope, I added a little note saying how we love towel animals and voila….

DH and Andrew returned from Epcot about now and were eager to relax a bit before dinner. I was happy to hear they spent a wonderful day with Andrew’s two closest buddies and their parents. It was so wonderful to again see Andrew so animated and really wholly enjoying himself!

After a bit, we headed down to Narcoossee’s; where we met my in-laws, and some of the remaining guests. It was a beautiful evening warm but with a cool breeze. The kids loved going out onto the back porch of the restaurant between courses. In terms of the meal, too many selections for me to recall although everyone was quite thrilled with their menu selections. However, I must take a moment to mention my appetizer salad for it was outstanding and I start to salivate everytime I think of how wonderfully simple and delicious it was! I had ordered a BLT salad and it was gorgeously presented. It consisted of a couple of large, greenish-reddish heirloom tomatoes, mizuna and butter lettuce, crispy pancetta atop a slice of crusty-on-the-outside, chewy-on-the-inside Italian bread, finished with a lovely balsamic and olive oil drizzle. It was, quite possibly, one of the freshest most delicious salads I ever had. In fact, I could happily order two of them and make that my meal! Highly recommended….yum!

It was very lovely and relaxing to enjoy evenly paced meal with our friends. Afterwards, Izzy and I headed back to the room: we were both a bit tired after hosting the big bash and I, after much debate, decided to go ahead and take my MS injection. So, Izzy and I took showers and snuggled in bed while watching the Disney Channel. At 9pm, we headed onto the balcony to enjoy Wishes before heading to bed. In the meantime, Paul and Andrew headed to the MK with friends to take in the mountains in the evening. (BTW...no idea why this font is smaller)
