I am so excited for you! I love reading about first timers plans and trips.

Others have given a lot of good suggestions. I would definitely make a list of the must sees and save things like Astro Orbiter and the Speedway for only if you have time. I would also bump down Sounds Dangerous at DHS lower on the list. It is a cool attraction but not a must do IMHO.

I was going to warn you about the Safari closing early, they have to allow time to get the animals in for the night before sundown. I was also thinking ToonTown in the MK may close early, maybe someone can correct me?

I would also bump down Carousel of Progress on the list. It is fun, but the kids would not enjoy it I think, it is long, and the only reason we have to ride it is that my DH remembers it from the NY World's Fair!

Ellen's Energy Adventure is also a really long ride, but if any of your kids love dinos like mine do, then definitely go for it. But if you do the dino stuff in AK, then you could skip this. It is very slow and educational.

I also wanted to add, what about meeting characters? Will your kids want to do that?

Thanks for sharing!
