I'm really sorry that your trip has had such a dark cloud over it because of the attitudes of your travelling companions.
This is the EXACT reason why I won't let anyone come with us. My brother and his wife wanted us to plan a trip together, but she has a huge stick up her @$$ most of the time so there is NO way I'm going to let her ruin my happy place.
I really hope the rest of your trip goes better.
