| I have eaten at both restaurants on numerous occasions. At Chef Mickey's, I've had varying experiences from excellent to terrible. If you do choose Chef Mickey's, be sure to get an early dining time. On one occasion we ate here later in the evening and it was a disaster - most of the supposedly hot food items on the buffet were cold and they had run out of several of the offerings. Also make sure to ask for seats in the main dining area and not in one of the anterooms. It has been my experience when seated there, particularly if later in the evening, that not all the characters make their way back to those outlying rooms. At the Liberty Tree Tavern on the other hand, I've always had wonderful experiences with great service, wonderful character interaction and excellent food. Although there may be more choices in a buffet setting than the family-style serving done here, the array of food you're served is still very satisfying plus you don't run the risk of missing characters while you're up at the buffet table. It's so much more relaxing to sit there and let the food come to you. I would definitely choose Liberty Tree Tavern over Chef Mickey's.
