Updated 5/29 Day part 3 ***spoiler alert TSM photos****

So we finished unpacking and were going to head out to DHS to try and get a ride on Toy Story Mania with our AP's since they were having AP Previews. But there was a knock on the door. To explain this I have to tell you about what happened 2 weeks before we were going to leave.

I obviously make a lot of changes and since I needed to be economical about our funds for this trip and my moving I decided to cancel the Illuminations Cruise. So 2 weeks before we were to leave we made the final call not to do the cruise and called to cancel it. The CM who I was talking too turned from being Cinderella to an EVIL Step sister in a matter of 2 minutes. She cancelled the cruise and was going to make us 2 breakfast ADR's at Boma for our trip. She misread her screen and to make the long story short attempted to cancel all of our ADR's because as she put it "i was a liar, a fraud and she was putting a stop to it" To say I was upset was an understatement. Marisa My TA my wonderful wonderful TA called and made sure everything was intact and fixed but I was so upset at how I was treated. I hand wrote a letter and addressed it to the people I thought would be appropriate.

Lets just say I got a phone call from a CM who works in Al Weiss's office who gave me to the person I needed to speak with. We spent almost an hour talking about what happened, what my past experiences have been, about our trip, about my moving to FL.... well that was 1 week before we were to leave.

So there was a knock on the door and a delivery runner from the hotel was there with this huge gift basket. It was from the Reservations Department as a token of their apologies wishing us a great trip. wow I did not expect that at all. Just them taking the time to call me and want to talk to me was way more then I wanted.
So Al Weiss read my letter, and the Reservations Department sure did give us a great Night Cap each night with a bottle of wine, and a cheese spread basket!

It also had this lovely frame in it too:

And since I our view here is a few more photos of that:

So we stored the wine in the fridge for now and got the cheese put into the fridge as well and then gathered our belongings and headed for the nearest exit ok so we headed up to Valet and got our car. We drove to DHS and found a prime parking spot right in front with our HC tag and it was right by the crosswalk so very little walking In through security and then to the gate to use our AP's for the first time, and G'ma's 10 day pass.

Well that was where our luck ran out...

Our AP's had the wrong date and were shown to be expired and g'ma's ticket had become deactivated because she put it against something in her bag and it lost its magnetic charge. Luckily we had the receipts and names of those we dealt with and the Guest Services department was able to reprint the tickets for us but G'ma's wouldn't work right until about 3 days later we figured out it was her not doing it right and then got her to do it properly so all was good

So with tickets fixed and only about 90 minutes until our Dinner we had to get to TSM and try and get on. Well guess what Mom forgot in the room.... Her GAC which since we weren't renting scooters yet (we were only doing TSM and leaving) would be necessary for her to be able to make it with the walking and waiting in line.

So back to Guest Services for us to get her GAC the lady was nice saw we had AP's and made it valid for 3 months and we can do that until our AP runs out or we renew them. So now onto TSM ...maybe...i won't hold my breath.

Some photos of DHS as we went in:

G'ma found a bench in the shade by The Little Mermaid since she doesn't have an AP and didn't feel comfortable going in Walt's Dream alone in case we came out before she finished. She held the bags and we headed over to show them our Spankin new Ap's and take photos all the way to the front of the line the queue and the exterior of the building looked great. We got to the front of the queue with 3D glasses in hand and...

"We're sorry we are down for technical Difficulties, try back before 7pm we maybe opening again we are sorry soft openings do start thursday too" I wasn't mad at them it has been a long day remember I had 2 hours sleep if that, we have been going since 3am its now almost 4pm and I just want to ride the ride... ok so back out of the ride queue the same way we came in back out of the area gather g'ma and our bags and well ...out of the park and to the Bus stop for the Contemporary.

So here are the photos I took as we went into the Ride:

Up Next...One last Dinner at Concourse Steakhouse, and an 82 yo half deaf Half Blind G'ma survives the exit of Fantasmis! or not?
