DDuff, I definitely think that it matters what audience you see the movie with. I saw it around 7:00 pm on Friday, and I was surprised at how many men where there (with their wives of girlfriends). There were more women than men, definitely, but I guess Date Night for a bunch of folks was SATC.
We did have the clapping and cheering, though.
My Rapunzal, I love that scene in Hope Floats, too - very real. I appreciate that a lot. When Carrie threw the phone in the ocean after listening to just a few seconds of Bigs voicemails, I was like, "I hear ya."

I have a friend who is Just. Like. Charlotte. and all I could imagine was that happening to her, which just made me laugh harder!
