I can't help with your question about Pop and Port Orleans French Quarter, but there is no such thing as too long a Disney vacation, trust me! : Twice, we've stayed on property for 19 nights and still haven't seen and done everything. A lot of Brits stay for 14 nights, as we travel so far and my advice would always be to stay for as long as you can afford - both in terms of money and time. There is so much to do at Disney and it allows you to enjoy the parks - and everything else there - at a more relaxed pace.
