| It is hard to believe how quickly our trip is approaching! I was fairly certain all the craziness of the end-of-the-school-year festivities would be a great distraction. Boy, I was right: I have been so unbelievably busy that I haven’t had too much time to focus on the fact that I will be in WDW in 48 hours! I am feeling fairly organized. Our luggage arrived at AKL today, a day earlier than I had anticipated but I am always relieved to know it arrived in time for our trip. I have started to pack the carry-on which is safely hidden away in my closet. I am absolutely certain the kids have NO CLUE which makes me very happy. I think it will be a great reveal. Trust me; there have been a few times where I have been tempted to tell Andrew. Poor kid, he has had a rough week. We saw the uber- GI specialist yesterday and he agreed Andrew needs this very specialized procedure which is not going to be too pleasant for him and will require him to be admitted to the hospital. We are going to take him up to Children’s Hospital in Boston for a second opinion but we are fairly certain the recommendation will be the same. (There are only a handful of docs in the country who perform this type of procedure and subsequent testing). My poor heart was breaking for him yesterday and I was so very close to telling him just to take his mind off of everything else. In the end, I kept my mouth shut and I figure, I have made it this far….I can handle a few more days! On a positive front, my good karma for this trip is continuing….I received another email coupon code from Dollar rental and rebooked our car rental. Upgraded to a medium SUV (Jeep Liberty) for less money than our original moderate car! Also, I am hoping to head to Barnes and Noble and pick up the Field Guide to the AK for Andrew and something Disney related that Izzy can read during the plane ride. The only major thing left to do is take my MS shot…which I moved up to tonight so I wouldn’t have to deal with it this weekend while I am at WDW. Some injections are easier than others and some weeks I have almost no side effects and some weeks I feel rather lousy….I am cautiously optimistic this evening's will cooperate!
