You can easily walk to EPCOT in a few minutes. If you have park hoppers, we walk to EPCOT, go through it, hop on the monorail, and go to MK.
You can also walk to DHS, BUT - it's about a 15 to 20 minute walk. We prefer taking the boat that is located in back of the resort.

The theming is beautiful and the staff is great.

Since it saves you money, and you get to stay for longer, I wouldn't hesitate.
I can't believe I can walk to TWO parks from here! We loved the idea of the boat to MK from WL but now we can take a boat to MGM or Epcot which is SUPER awesome!

And if you cut past the theme pool, it is really not a much longer walk to the Studios than Epcot. The Inn itself is not as spread out as the Villas.

We also enjoyed the entertainment nightly on the Boardwalk.

I put some pictures in our TR (just click the link and scroll about 40% of the way down):
Bob & Larry and The Tales from Reedy Creek **COMPLETE 7/8**
I am going to check out the pics as soon as I finish here. I got some nice ones as I wondered the Boardwalk for an hour while Rob was at Muscles and Bustles our last trip. Thanks so much!

The location is great. I mean, you are so close to Epcot and they have the wonderful night life that you can dance to. There will be lots of romantic evening walks. Sitting on the beach, the sounds of a boardwalk in summer... and so much more.

I think you'll be very happy.

Anyway, I'd stay there it looks nice. The clown slide does freak me out, however.
LOL! I had a friend who was deathly afraid of clowns and she was totally freaked out when she saw this felt painting my grandma used to have in her spare room from Coney Island... the clown looked JUST like the one at the pool!

with you decision!
I never thought we could afford this but we had gotten pin codes in the mail and it got me curious for the end of summer, then the flights, and this price is just too good to pass up!

Just stayed there in Feb. and thought that it was fabulous, after a December vacation at the Polynesian (loved loved loved the Poly too!). You won't be disappointed with the Boardwalk, I'm sure. Enjoy!!!!
By the way you describe it seems like Boardwalk would be a great first deluxe ever!

Shhh... don't tell! lol! My current delima is getting an ADR at 1900 Park Fare for dinner! Hmpf! I will have a good update over on the TR coming up ASAP!
