OK, you asked....
Well, we had a big cook out including ribs, fried chicken and hot dogs. We had one of my brothers and many friends over to the house and were planning to go to my in-laws farm for fireworks, when we had some of our own, with lightening that zapped the house and took out a GFCI, but oddly some equipment that was not grounded -- the cable modem, routers etc., but worst of all, the Wii!
Oh, the agony! I had to call the fire department to come check the house and found the hot GFCI with the thermal camera and some other stuff, but no fire, it seems!
We love to see the guys, but not like that! Today is cleaning up, fixing things as much as possible. Phone is not working, either. Tomorrow is teaching sunday school, worship, and going to the veteran's home to conduct a worship service there.
