The code for the CD and the card for the pictures are two different things. You'll get an email with a code, essentially a coupon code that is equal to the cost of the CD plus standard shipping. (However, I discovered that if you add anything else to your order, you end up having to pay half of the shipping cost, even if it is the same as it would have been with just the CD...) You'll order your CD, and you'll see it listed at full cost in your "shopping cart", but then when you type in the coupon code, you'll see that amount listed as a discount.
When you get to the parks and have your first Photopass picture taken, the photographer will give you a plastic card, much like a credit card. Then each time you have a picture made, they'll get your card back from you and scan it to put the picture on your "account". Each card has a code on it, but it's the code you use to retrieve your pictures once you get home. That code has nothing to do with the code to order the CD. It's simply used to access your pictures online so you can fix/crop/add borders/etc the pix and order the CD.
Hope this helps!
