On July 23rd the day we were going to finish driving in from OK be there by 3 and be able to do Downtown Disney from a boat a POR....there was rain like I have NEVER HAD to drive thru... I have been in rain associated with tornadoes...30 min ahead or 30 min behind or in what they call the core BUT THE RAIN IN FLORIDA WAS WORSE. Hard driving Visibility 10 foot only.BABABADDDD rain.
Banding rain too, I thought there had been a TD in the gulf area and we were getting the bands. We stopped to eat??? Before the turnpike to WDW and the storm had knocked out their computers for a while so that let me know even locals were not used to it....
Then google directions were way off and we got lost trying to come down 535 to POR.... w checked in at 8!!!! ARRHHHHHH
