Hello everyone-well here it is-my 1st attempt at a trip report....please be gentle with me .

Dates: September 14-20, 2008
Characters: Me (Cilla-41), Karen (Bossy-41), DD Alex (19), DD Sarah (17) and DS Zach (14).
The kids and I hadn't been back since 2002, and Bossy hasn't been back in 25 years !!!!

We decided to leave GA on 9-13 and just stay over somewhere across the state line, then leave early on 9-14 and get to Pop to check in so we could get to the parks asap.
I picked up the rental car (mini van) around 11 am, Zach was bowling so we couldn't leave until after that anyway. He was done around 12:30 pm, we had the van packed and ready to go, leaving the driveway at 1:50 pm. This is some pics I took before we left..... and . Can you tell I am a LITTLE excited ?! We didn't make it very far before my kids had to go potty and were screaming to eat . I thought with them being teenagers we would make it to the state line rest stop at least . So, we stopped in Henry County, GA at Wendy's for a potty break and a cheap place to eat. Here are some pics from that.... and . I told them we were getting it to go because I wanted to get back on the road-even though we were in no hurry since we were stopping for the night. We all got burgers and fries-we had cokes in the cooler, so no drinks from Wendy's.
Back on the road and hit the Florida State line at 6:15 pm, here are some pics from that little lay over....., if u look real close u can see my son in the corner of this pic-he was being silly. Here's another shot...., can u tell my kids are NEVER serious ?
We got a hotel room in Gainesville and ate at McDonald's for the nigh-another cheap place to eat. We set the clock for 6:45 am to get up but I couldn't sleep, so I was up at 5 , we were out of there by 7:30 am , more later.......
