Smile just got back from disney, and thought I'd tell you my experiences with table service

I just got back this morning, and thought I'd write some thoughts... We plan our dinners and make adrs with the disney dining plan, because we feel that it allows us to try things we normally would not.

Day one we ate at Beirgarten (Epcot Germany.) My dad and sister really enjoyed this, mom and I felt that the food was ok... The show was cute, the buffet had several choices but there was a lot of vinegar in everything... Service was very good, atmosphere was neat.

Day two, we ate at Boma (Animal Kingdom Lodge.) This was one of those restaurants that I had heard a lot about, but was not sure what to expect. It was a wonderful buffet with many different choices. I loved the Salmon, and the potatoes with afritude. The zebra dome was a good dessert choice... Service was the worst we had the whole week, but adequate, atmosphere was interesting.

Day three we ate at whispering canyon cafe (wilderness lodge.) In my family, bbq is a great choice, and this was a fun "lazy buffet." the pulled pork and brisket were very good, the mashed potatoes were excellent. Our waitress was very good, funny and very attentive. My dad was being rediculous about pictures, told us not to take anymore, so mom, sister and I all got our cameras out and started taking pictures after picture of him, and our waitress came up and made a funny face in one of the pictures when we explained why we were doing it. Service was very good, atmosphere was good.

Day four we ate at garden grill (epcot, the land.) I really enjoyed the catfish and steak. very good food, fun atmosphere. the character interaction with 4 adults at our table was very good. Our server was a little better than boma, but not great.

Day five we ate at coral reef (epcot living seas.) this is a restaurant that we really enjoy. I thought the selection was a little bit more limited than it was the last time we were there, but I enjoyed my seafood linguini. Service was good, atmosphere was good. I really enjoyed watching the shark swim by.

Day six we ate at Akershus (Epcot Norway). This one my mom and sister wanted to go, dad and I werent that excited. I had the salmon, and it was pretty good. The princesses all came by our table, it was Belle at the front, and Jasmine, Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella and Ariel. The service here was very good (and I must say as a relatively young, single male there were some very nice looking young ladies on the staff) and the atmosphere was nice also.

Day seven, we ate at the crystal palace for breakfast... I am not a huge breakfast person, but my dad enjoyed it last time and wanted it again... It was good, as breakfast goes... The characters all came by, and posed for pictures, service was good, atmosphere was good.
